Umpqua Valley Retriever Club is located in the Roseburg area of Southern Oregon and draws members from around the region and nearby states. Memberships are $40 per family. Click HERE for details and membership form.  
Training days for members
​We sponsor monthly spring training days open to current members in a variety of premium venues starting in January. Click HERE for directions to training venues. Members may join at any time during the year.

Please keep in mind these are private properties, open to club memers on designated UVRC training days only. 
Members-only Training Day Details
  • 8:30 Sign-in, volunteer assignments, running order draw
  • Cancelled: 30 live duck flyers will be available. First come, first serve. 
  • $30 per flyer. No other charge for training day. Members only. No cost for dead bird throw.
  • 9:00 Training begins
  • Annual membership dues ($40) are due. They may be paid at the event. New members welcome.
  • Designated gunners must have a current hunting license.
  • Bring your own chair, lunch, rain gear, etc.
  • A porta potty will be available on site.
  • Live flyers, if available, cost TBD. No cost to members for dead bird throws.
  • Do not bring female dogs in season onto the training grounds.​ ​
Additional events open to all
  • UVRC holds an annual AKC Hunt Test in June. 
  • This year we will be sponsoring an AKC Judges Seminar in April and a Pat Burns Seminar in August. Click HERE for more information.

​New to the club? UVRC club members include both amateur and professional trainers, novice and experienced, from Oregon, Washington, California and Western Idaho. We welcome new members at all levels.

New to the sport? UVRC is a great place to begin. Take advantage or our experienced, helpful, friendly members. We love welcoming new faces -- and new muzzles.
