UVRC Club Training Venues

Please keep in mind these are private properties, open to club members and guests on designated UVRC Training Days only. 

  • Training days are open to UVRC members. Dues are $40 per family per calendar year.
  • Live flyers are $30, first come first served basis. No cost for dead bird throws.
  • Live station gunners AND throwers must have ODFW permit on them.
  • Do not bring female dogs in season onto the training grounds.
  • Bring your own chairs, lunch, rain gear, etc.

Bunnell property
143 Val Vista Road, Roseburg, Oregon (Lookingglass area)

  • Take exit 124 from I-5
  • Turn west onto W. Harvard Ave 1.7 mi
  • Turn left (southwest) onto Lookingglass Rd 6.1 mi
  • Turn left (south) at the stop sign to stay on Lookingglass Rd 0.2 mi
  • Turn right (west) at the stop sign onto Coos Bay Wagon Rd 1.2 mi
  • Turn right onto Val Vista Lane
  • Gate is on your immediate right; gate will be unlocked on training days

Myer property

2021 Upper Cleveland Rapids Road, Roseburg 
Hosts Don and Billie Myers
  • Take exit 129 from I-5
  • Turn west onto Del Rio Road 4 mi
  • Turn west (slight right) on Garden Valley Blvd 2.5 mi
  • Turn right (northeast) on Upper Cleveland Rapids Rd
  • Property is towards the end of the road

Kahn property

5120 Sunshine Road, Roseburg, 
East of Roseburg, off Diamond Lake Highway

  • Take I-5 Exit 124 and follow Highway 138 (Diamond Lake Hwy) signs.
  • About 3 miles east of Roseburg on Highway 138, turn left on Sunshine Road. (The road is immediately before the Sunshine Softball Park complex.) 
  • Follow the road north for several miles (over the ridge and back down). 
  • The Kahn ranch is on the left just before the pavement ends.
  • This is a working ranch.

lINDBLOOM property

Beyond Kahn Ranch (above) on Sunshine Road
​East of Roseburg, off Diamond Lake Highway
  • ​​Take I-5 Exit 124 and follow Highway 138 (Diamond Lake Hwy) signs.
  • About 3 miles east of Roseburg on Highway 138, turn left on Sunshine Road. (The road is immediately before the Sunshine Softball Park complex.) 
  • Follow the road north for several miles (over the ridge and back down) to the pavement end.
  • Cross a wooden plank bridge and stay on the main gravel road until you come to a large Green Steel Gate. Go through the gate, past a house and across another bridge.
  • From there, it will be at least another 2 miles of road and through another gate to the training day site. Just keep going until you see the club trailer.

morley/Kongsore properties

30707 and 30709 Camas Swale Road, Creswell
Hosts Diane Morley and/or Bente Kongsore.

Take I-5 Exit 182 and proceed west through Creswell 6 miles
  • West of town, the road name becomes Camas Swale Road
  • Proceed to 30709 (mailbox on the right with angled driveway). The driveway is a gravel road going off to the right (northwest). 
  • Proceed through the open gate, over the small bridge
  • Take a right (east) at the first crossroad.
  • Find a safe place to park as the grounds are wet.
  • PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE OR PARK OFF THE GRAVEL PORTIONS. STAY OFF THE GRASS.
  • These are private grounds open only on designated UVRC Training Days.

Strader French Creek Ranch property 

BLM Road 26-3-170, Glide/ Idleyld Park
  • Take I-5 Roseburg Exit 124 and follow Highway 138 (Diamond Lake Hwy) signs. 
  • Follow OR 138 east through Glide to the green Lone Rock bridge over the North Umpqua River.
  • Once across the bridge, take an immediate left (west) on BLM Rd 26-3-170 to the dual cattle gate on your right.
  • Enter there, and look for the UVRC signs to direct you to the training area.
  • Livestock have the right of way!​
